Commonly called “White-ants”, Termites cause more damage to homes across Australia than all natural disasters combine and not one dollar of that damage is covered by home and contents insurance.

With one in four homes experiencing some form of Termite damage, the odds are pretty good that people may experience a Termite infestation in their lifetime. The best way to avoid these unwelcome guests is to implement some form of Termite protection program.

Termite protection can be grouped into 2 main methods:

• Chemical soil treatment
• Termite interception system

There are many different products and techniques currently used in Termite control, the most important thing to know is there will most likely be some that are not appropriate for your situation.

Termite control can never be one size fits all. At Knock-Out Pest Control we select the treatment and protection program that best suits the terrain, construction type and environmental factors that may influence the practicality of a given system or product on your site.
