Yes. The chemicals used by Knock-Out Pest Control are all synthetic pyrethrums. They are very safe and have no smell.

If anyone in the family suffers from any respiratory issues, then it is suggested that the property is left for a minimum of 4 hours to allow ample time for the products to dry, and please ventilate the property before re-entering.

If you are experiencing problems with German cockroaches or ants in your kitchen cupboards, it is more beneficial to remove all items from these areas to allow for a more comprehensive treatment, if you have problems with silverfish in your wardrobes or linen-press it is advantageous to clear them out as well.

There are many tell-tale signs that a qualified termite inspector is looking for when he does an inspection, from the obvious to the subtle. This is not something that should be assessed by the amateur because your home is worth far too much to find out too late that your husband or brother-in-law didn't know what he was talking about.

You wouldn't let a mechanic cut your hair, don't let an accountant do your termite inspection.

Immediately following your treatment it is quite common to see a notable increase in activity. This is because we have treated your home. The treatment will flush them out. Depending on the pest, you can expect to see an improvement after 2 weeks.

On the interior of the house they should be kept away for a minimum of 3 hours (this applies to cats and dogs). Birds inside the home can stay as well as fish. Any birds or fish to the exterior of the house, we will keep a wide berth from so as not to contaminate their environment.

Once the product is dry it is fine for your pets to re enter the treated areas. The exterior dries much quicker than the interior due to wind and heat. Generally speaking, in summer the dog can be placed back in the yard 1 hour after the service (providing they cannot get under the house).

It is not possible to have 100% elimination of pests. It is quite normal to see the odd cockroach from time to time. Once a pest walks across the barrier we have laid down or eaten the cockroach bait we have placed it will die.
